The Colonial Rose Cotton Matelasse Coverlet features a unique organic and geometric pattern of floral and palm leafs. Reminiscent of vintage coverlets from the midcentury, the Colonial Rose pattern was introduced by Bates in the 1950s.

Also available as a traditional full length bedspread, the Colonial Rose Cotton Matelasse Coverlet has a shorter drop on the sides. A coverlet can be the perfect choice for beds that sit closer to the floor, or for someone who is just looking for a slightly more modern touch.

Colonial Rose Coverlet

I love everything about this coverlet. The weight is lighter than the Kineo blanket that I ordered, which I like. The ball fringe reminds me of my grandmother. I have a bed that is low to the floor, so this coverlet is a perfect size to use as a spread. The weaving is superb, and I feel special to have one.
