Hampton Roads Matelasse Cotton Throw

This throw is of excellent quality....I know Bates is top notch but this even exceeds my expectations. It is heavyweight and the neutral Hampton roads pattern matches with any decor. Care is easy....just wash and dry in the machine. I highly recommend this throw.

I use these throws and shams at my B&B. They can take a pounding from those who visit but they hold their looks well, even through repeated washings.

I was so excited to get this throw and when it arrived, I have to say it was even better than I could have imagined. I purchased the white one and love it - clean, modern - if you want to give a gift for birthdays , bridal showers, etc. that will impress, elicit oohs and aahs, and really stand out, I would recommend this throw. Also purchased the white blanket - ditto and equally impressed. Even though my style is more modern as opposed to colonial/country, still found items I love. So grateful to know top notch quality still exists.

I have two Hampton Road throws and I love them. They are so soft and warm without too much bulk. My personal style is country/industrial! I would think this pattern would 'go' with anything. They wash beautifully - my pet baby lays on one a lot and so it gets laundered a lot. I am so glad I found this site. I have four of their bedspreads and I can say the same about them; soft, warm and beautiful. Thank you to all of you at Bates Mill Store!
