Cathedral Cotton Blanket

The old polyester blankets were full of holes and needed to be replaced. Besides, they always made me uncomfortably hot at night and I would wake up sweating. These 100% cotton blankets from Bates Mill are the PERFECT solution! No more sweats, no more night awakenings from being over-heated. Glad they are made in the USA! The quality shows!! In Vermont, the windchill can exceed -20 at night. So I have grabbed 2 of these (ordering a third) and I never notice the cold, even with the thermostat turned down some. Breathable, natural, just as a blanket should be. They washed and dried nicely, no notable shrinkage, on low heat , just remove them promptly. Expect some initial lint in the dryer trap.

I own this blanket in both antique and white. I'm so happy to have found this quality cotton blanket. I have been shopping for years looking for a blanket like this and after purchasing the white color from Room & Board, I came here to purchase the antique color. The antique color is a true neutral beige, its beautiful!

Recently purchased the Bates "Cathedral" cotton blanket. This blanket is absolutely beautiful and is extremely well-made! I purchased the Full/Queen size for my guest bedroom. It is a bit heavy, although it did fit in my home washer and dryer. It's likely a King size would have to be washed in a commercial washer/dryer. Very happy I found this item and Bates Mill...I like that their products are made in the USA! Would not hesitate to recommend this blanket.

The blanket is beautiful and very soft. The pattern is lovely and feels heavy and high quality.

Love this blanket. It is warm and comfortable and allows breathability. It does not misshape when I am remaking the bed. Would recommend without hesitation.
