Heavyweight Bedspread

We love our Bates bedspreads. And yes, 3 out of 4 of our beds are draped in Bates' spreads. The primary reason we buy these spreads is for their warmth in the winter months (yes, they are made of cotton) and their coolness in summer months, not to mention they're easy to manipulate and are just plain comfy. We don't need anything fancy, frilly, or highfalutin. And that's just what Bates spreads are elegantly all about.

This bedspread is wonderful. When I walk, I have to touch it. The quality shows in the texture. Would I order again? Absolutely!

1st Bedspread Purchase

Excellent quality and workmanship-congrts to manufacturing team. Only one improvement which would be minimal sizing of length of bedspread. Realize cost effectiveness of raw materials, but need to lengthen slightly. Thank you and have a good day.

White Wow! Wonderful

This is the second John Adams bedspread I've bought from Bates Mills. The first was in the Antique color for a soft color scheme, and this new one is White. So striking! Clean, fresh, snowy, white. Gorgeous! I wanted a modern look in the room, and the John Adams design is perfect for that aesthetic. I'm honestly thrilled. Thank you Bates Mills for making such a sumptuous, quality bedspread.

I was able to get this in a queen and king size at an auction. We love them so much. I was able to date mine 1941 -1964. It is still wonderful in 2023. Since it’s vintage I will enjoy it even more.
