George Washington's Choice Blanket
The George Washington’s Choice Blanket is our oldest and most popular blanket design. Available in 6 colors, this heavyweight blanket is as decorative as it is warm. This heirloom-quality blanket is loom woven from American grown and spun cotton, and the design has a similar appearance to popular cable knit blankets.
The George Washington’s Choice is finished with a double needle plain hem on all four sides. Like all of our made in USA blankets, this blanket is woven and stitched at our family-owned mill in the beautiful state of Maine.

This blanket is gorgeous. The weave is amazing and the color perfect. It’s the right amount of cover and breath ability for the two of us. The quality is superb and I think it will get better as it ages. We bought a full/queen.
I found this lovely store on line and these beautiful blankets made in the U.S.A. It’s probably “expensive” to some folks, but if we want manufacturing jobs to come back to this country, we really need to stop shopping at retailers who source products outside the U.S.
This blanket is my standard wedding gift and it has never failed to please the couple I send it to. I continue to get thanks many years later from individuals. I’ve given this blanket to they remember I gave it to them and they always comment on how beautiful it still looks.
